MoMI's Approach to Brand Partnership
In addition to traditional sponsorship and exhibition underwriting, MoMI invites leading culture brands to help craft unique exhibition experiences and present special event programs.
These branded integrations build genuine credibility among art, film, and science communities, and generate mass awareness—within New York City and across the globe.
PAST BRAND ACTIVATIONS

Exhibition Sponsorship
AMC and Lionsgate
This highly attended, large-scale exhibition celebrated the revolutionary series Mad Men on AMC. It included sets, 25 iconic costumes, props, video clips, advertising art, and personal notes and research material from creator Matthew Weiner.

Special Events
Dolce and Gabbana
Tirelli Costume Exhibition and Benefit Event
MoMI hosted a benefit event, and mounted an exhibition (with onsite, personal input from Domenico Dolce) of classic Tirelli costumes in the Museum's lobby, and more recent Dolce and Gabbana designs in the Museum's Amphitheater.

Branded Experience
Installed as part of Spectacle: The Music Video
SONOS: Playground
In this site-specific installation in the Nam June Paik / HBO Production Lab at MoMI, visitors were able to select any song from a Sonos controller and watch a visualization of the music projected onto the surrounding walls. With motion-capture technology, visitors interacted with and manipulated the animation through movement.
The room-flooding sound of the Sonos Playbar helped create an immersive and surreal environment.

Product Collaboration
MoMI x Bergdorf Goodman x Kith
The Jim Henson Exhibition
In conjunction with Bergdorf Goodman’s holiday window display and MoMI’s major Jim Henson exhibition, Bergdorf tapped Kith to collaborate on custom apparel. The Kith items were featured in email announcements, in store, online, and in the printed winter catalogue from Bergdorf.
